Pigtails and Rolls

With hair like hers, momma's gotta have some mad skills up my sleeve!


Don't you love the rolls? It was hot around here and Olivia asked, "why sister no have clothes on?" I told her that she was too hot. Olivia then asked, "why sister have alot of skin?" I told her it was because she's a baby. She then tells me that "I no like a lot of skin." Me neither Olivia, especially at my age!

Picking

Olivia continues to amaze me. She's so bright and funny and just full of spunk. She was picking at some scabs on her face the other day and I told her not to pick at her face. She says, "not my face mom? only pick my nose?" Good point, so I said yeah, only your nose. And she says "welllll, I no have any more boogers mom!"

Kung Fu

Camille can sit now. Very well in fact. These were taken before her mastering that milestone. I love how she crawls, then whips her leg around and is all of a sudden sitting up. It's hilarious... like a kung-fu move.

Toothless Grin

These are the last pictures of Camille and her gummy smile. Her two bottom teeth broke through this weekend. It was a painful right of passage for all of us! Lots and lots of crying, but here is proof once again that she's not always a cry baby.

OMG

I wasn't going to post this, because it's mean. But when the kids are older and Camille loses her sister's Barbie, or "borrows" Olivia's clothes without asking, or "accidently" eats the last piece of chocolate cake that her sister wanted...well, she'd get a free pass. Because this is what she had to endure....

Father's Day

I'm so behind = father's day was a month ago! Olivia helped me make daddy blueberry pancakes for breakfast. He only has one on his plate but I was busy making more.


Here they are giving daddy some love.


It was a fun day, we went to swimming class for Olivia and then had my parents over for dinner to celebrate my dad's day too!

Scooter

Camille is officially a scooter now. She gets around pretty well and I'll have to post a video of that soon. Here she is all proud of herself.


Two "sissers"

Swim Lessons

She has been goofing around in grandma and grandpa's pool since she was an infant but we thought it best to do some formal swim lessons. Here we are at Swim Venture in Laguna Hills getting ready. We signed her up for the daddy and me class but she was the oldest kid there and was way advanced, so they bumped her up to the preschool class which consists of a couple two year olds and a teacher. She likes it a lot! She's pretty comfortable floating on her back now. After a couple of lessons she was so proud to have earned her green ribbon and she even got to ring the bell meaning she graduated to the next level. Wooo hooo.









Since she graduated, she now gets to take classes at the pool next to us which is awesome since we can just walk there!

Someone Famous - Kinda

I had the opportunity to do a workshop with my friend and photographer, Kamee June. I spent the day inspired by her vision and having a blast with others who shared my same passion of photography. We also got to do a shoot with models who just happened to be somewhat famous ...Kara Keough from the Real Housewives of Orange County and her boyfriend Kyle Bosworth of UCLA football fame who was just drafted as a linebacker for the Eagles. They were amazing models....
