I told her I would only give it to her if she didn't swallow it and she said OK. Well, she chewed it for a good couple minutes and then it was gone.

France 2011

My monthly video recap is LATE, but better late than never! It's a long one, but it was hard to select the clips to show as we spent 11 wonderful and jam-packed days in France visiting family. Here are some highlights of our trip:
- seeing mamie and papie
- enjoying the backyard with cousins
- running back home from the park in the pouring rain
- taking the TGV to Bordeaux to visit tati Carine
- eating oysters and snails
- sand dunes
- Nespresso
- the mirror pond
- Eiffel Tower during the day and twinkling at night
- Olivia got to see the Fountain of the Oprah
- paddle tennis with cousins
- baguette shopping with mamie
- swimming

After the Eiffel Tower

After visiting the Eiffel Tower we walked over to the Opera Garnier. Olivia is VERY intrigued by this place since she loves The Phantom of the Opera movie! Here we are on our way to make the turn to see the Opera. Place Vendome is behind us.


Here she is catching her first glimpse. She was so happy!


Camille was fast asleep!








I used the smaller camera to take pictures of Olivia inside the Opera house, pictures to come later.


We grabbed some sandwiches and treats and were going to picnic at the Jardin de Tuilleries to enjoy the fountains and have the kids run around, but we ended up eating at the Place Vendome instead. The Ritz Carlton is right behind us.


Olivia and Camille conked out. Her nose started to bleed before she fell asleep so she has tissue stuffed up a nostril! She looks like a homeless kid. We should have put a cup in front of her for spare change.


We stopped by the neighborhood boulangerie for some baguettes for dinner.
She was very excited to help Mami.






Just like her mommy, this girl loves fresh, warm bread!
