Olivia's First Haircut

It only took 2 years, 2 months and 26 days for the little miss to get her first haircut, but we finally bit the bullet last Sunday, 1/24/10! Check out her scraggle rock hair pre-cut!

Miss Maggie from First Cuts told her to be still and Olivia was great at following directions. She looks a little apprehensive, but we didn't go bold - just took a couple inches off!

She was so proud of her new cut. She kept touching her hair and saying, "Maggie cut hair."

And here's a cute one of Camille sleeping! She looks like she'll need a haircut sooner than 2 years!!!

She liked them so much that she stuffed some in her pocket which of course I forget to take out before doing the laundry! I need to make a reminder since she brings home lots of goodies from school in those pockets like sand and stones! Gotta watch out for crayons!!

Big Girl Bed

"WOW" was the first thing Olivia said when she saw the box. I told her that it was her big girl bed and she was so excited! We were going to wait a couple more months until Camille needed to use the crib, but Olivia was ready to make the move to the toddler bed and we did it this past weekend. We asked Olivia, "since you're going to be in this big bed, who is going to use the crib?" and she said (loudly) "Sisser!!"

The bed is now complete. Thanks to daddy who patiently put all the parts together!

What a Cutie

We took a walk around the park today to feed the ducks and Olivia had a blast. I'll post more pictures later....Camille is asleep and I should follow suit!

My Little Lamb

Camille is a spitty baby and she needs to be propped up a bit so that she can sleep! Here's her lamb swing that allows her, or should I say US, to catch some zzzz's!

Cook Piggy

Olivia received a pig stuffed animal from "Geech" this Christmas that she absolutely loves. It's stuffed with lavender and can be heated in the microwave and used as a soothing hot pack when needed. It's great - I want one for myself. I nuked it for her once and ever since then she's been asking me to "cook piggy mommy." It's hilarious when she says it and seeing it spinning around the microwave is even more funny!

Camille is One Month Today

One month already, and it feels like I've been wide awake for two months ;)
Here are some pictures I took of the little princess last week. I tried doing naked baby shots but right now she still has a lot of baby monkey fuzz on her so I thought I'd spare her that!

I'm lagging and am still waiting for a decent picture for her birth announcement! This past Saturday, my photog friend Kamee came over to take some pictures of Camille and the new family of four, so I'm certain we'll get a good birth announcement picture out of that!

On another note (and some might find this completely gross), Camille's belly button finally fell off after 3 weeks and 6 days! I was beginning to wonder if it would be stuck to her for life. Olivia's fell off on the 8th day, so this was quite long in comparison. So, here are some pictures of the little nubbin and where it used to reside.

I had given Kamee a bag of Olivia's cute clothes for her little girl and now that Larkin has outgrown those, she returned it for Camille. I love circulating baby clothes! Olivia decided to put on her old clothes starting with these super cute Pedi-Peds!

Understandably, Olivia doesn't want to share any of her soft stuffed animals with her sister, so we were planning on buying Camille her own "doudou" which is French for a lovey, but we were lucky enough to receive this cute little bunny from one of Vincent's tennis peeps.

Hula Girl

Grandma brought the hula outfit back from Hawaii and kinda forgot about it - until now. Besides the lack of a tan, Olivia looks perfect in the get-up!




She looks like a natural, strumming the little guitar.
