Olivia Reads

Here's Olivia making up a fantastical story...
She doesn't like when we watch her so you'll see her pushing grandma away; and notice her surprise at the end when she realizes that she's being taped!

Olivia Meets Camille

The day we were discharged from the hospital, we dropped Camille off at my parents so that we could spend some time alone with Olivia before the big introduction. I was worried she would snub me after not seeing me for four days, but I walked into her room and she immediately ran to me and started showing off the project she was working on. Phew!

We told her that her sister was at grandma's house and she just kept saying, "baby sisser." Grandma and Grandpa had been teaching her to say Camille's name which she still hasn't mastered. She's dead set on calling her Amy! But sometimes she'll say Caminy. Here she is checking her out for the first time.

She was excited that we actually took the baby back to our place! In the morning, she was thrilled to see that her living doll was still around to play with! She keep squealing "hi baby."

She's Here!

We are so excited to introduce Camille Ava Allegre, born on Monday, December 14 at 1:14 p.m. She weighed 9.2 pounds and measured 20 inches long. We had another great experience at the hospital. We had the same doctor and O.R. nurse deliver the baby and surprisingly, we were in the same recovery room (185) and for the most part, had the same nurses there as well. So sad to leave the hospital because they were so helpful (especially at night). Olivia was not allowed in the hospital during flu season, so I missed seeing her for four days!

Waiting for the docs!

Camille Ava Allegre makes her debut. She kind of looks like Olivia did except Camille has a LOT of dark hair.

Still Pregnant

Here are some pictures of me and Olivia about a week prior to my due date. Olivia loved kissing and hugging the belly.

Here we are the night before the baby's arrival.

A very large baby was crammed in there.

Daddy worked on Olivia's Christmas present from grandma and grandpa - a lovely play kitchen. He opened the box and went WHOA, while Olivia said WOW. There were 54 pieces to assemble and it was a three day project.

Santa Puppy

Mary gave Olivia a very cute Santa puppy which she loves. When she first opened the bag she squealed with delight and was cracking up hysterically when she saw the tail wag. Of course, by the time I reached for the camera, the hysterical laughing was done :(

Gingerbread House

I thought Olivia would have a lot of fun helping us decorate a gingerbread house - apparently she's way too young for this to be fun since all she wanted to do was EAT the candy! Anyway, daddy and I had fun.

Grandpa's Birthday

We celebrated my dad's birthday at Farrell's Ice Cream Shop which is actually the first ice cream store he worked at prior to opening up an ice cream shop of his own during his college days. This is a new place at the Mission Viejo mall and during the drive to the mall, Olivia kept chanting "shopping, shopping, shopping" while pumping her fists. We are in BIG trouble!

Happy Birthday DA!!!

Holiday Music Class Video

Olivia and I have been going to music class every Saturday since she was 7 months old. We stopped going about six months ago because it got a little old and she wanted to run around more than she wanted to shake the shakers! We decided to join the special one day holiday event where we sang Christmas music. Olivia's buddy Evan and his mom also joined in on the fun.

Thanksgiving

Olivia was very excited on Thanksgiving because the weather was so nice! She also was counting down the hours to see her auntie Chrissy and uncle Bob. Here she is giving me some poses before taking Homer to the park for his morning walk. She decided to take Elmo along for the ride.

She just loves Homer - sometimes a little too much that he is scared of her. She used to only call him dog, but now she calls him by his name.
