Powell's Candy Shop was there giving away cotton candy. It was her first time eating it. She didn't love it. It was also so hot and humid that day that the cotton candy was melting all over her. Gross.

There were taken at Evan Slauson's 1st bday party last weekend. They had a balloon guy and an animal guy entertain the kids and adults. Olivia was very brave, she was handling small and big snakes, a big fat toad and a blue tongued iguana. And this bad boy...Here's the group shot of the brave.


I was also very brave. I figured that if I didn't do it then, I would NEVER do it. I sent the picture to Vincent and he flipped out - said I was irresponsible! Whatever.


Thisis how I found her when I picked her up last week. She said, "mommy, I is a princess."

More Funnies

O: I like this candy mom, I like the pink one
me: that's nice, but you can't have it now, you can maybe have it tomorrow
O: But I just want to hold it
me: no, it's time to go to bed
O: But I just want to look at it!
She's really been working on her negotiation skills!

Olivia let out a stinker and announced, "I tooted mommy."
me: it's ok, everybody toots, mommy toots too
O: and daddy and sister. But Daddy toots a lot. It's gross.

We were at Costco and there was a lady giving out m&m samples. Olivia's eyes bug out and she gasps, "mommy, i can have that candy???" I wasn't processsing very fast and she nods her head, "you're gonna say yes??!"

Me to Vincent: Camille is driving me crazy, take her from me!
Olivia turns to me and very seriously tells me, "it's ok mommy, she's just a baby."

O: you know what? Daddy can't say heart.
me: really? (knowing fully well that when he says it, it sounds more like, "art"
O: it's 'cause he speaks french!
When I asked Vincent about this he laughed and said that she kept correcting him and making him repeat it! HA HA

Tristan's 4th B-day - Pirate Ship

We celebrated Tristan's 4t bday on a Pirate ship in Long Beach. It was so fun! When we told Olivia we were going on a pirate ship she asked, "am I not going to be scared?" Pirates were on deck to greet us and she clung to me like white on rice! She was ok soon after.


We sailed around the harbor for 45 minutes and were entertained by pirates who played music!






Captain Jack and his parrot were also on board.


Camille had a great time checking out the view.

Pumpkin Patch 2010

It was a bit of a cold and gloomy day which was perfect for a trip to the pumpkin patch.






Olivia was not ready to ride the ponies this year. She did, however, have a lot of fun riding the ponies that don't smell...

Olivia had a blast driving the mini ATV. She ran into the hay bales a few times but she quickly got the hang of it!




The swings were her favorite ride. They went pretty fast. She kept saying, "I dizzy!"

Olivia's Funnies

She's been saying funny things for a while now and so I think I'm going to start writing them down before I forget! I have to say that her voice is very unique, it's a mixture of valley girl and whiny girl and it cracks in some spots.


- She was giving Camille a kiss on the head.
Olivia: sistah has a big head
me: Yes, it's big like mine
O: Well, I have a big belly, just like Grandpa!

- We were at the doctor's office for Camille's flu shot and when the nurse came in she jumped up, cupped Camille's face and said, "it's OK sistah, don't be shy."

- Vincent came home and Olivia immediately noticed his haircut
O: Daddy, you got a haircut!
V: Yes, you like it?
O: Daddy, why you get a haircut? you already not have a lot of hair!

Olivia was trying to get me to go upstairs with her for the potty. I told her no, we had one downstairs she could use. She kept trying to negotiate with me, so I finally told her that I would only help her if she used the one downstairs. She stood on the steps with her palms in the air and said, "You KIDDING me???" It was hilarious!

Camille was crying and she wouldn't calm down.
me: Geez, what's the matter with your sister
O: I don't know, maybe sistah wants to eat your boobs!

Her favorite show this month is Dancing With the Stars. She's very good and she even kisses me when her routine is over! Camille will clap her hands along with the audience. So cute!
