Olivia's cousin Phoenix got baptised last weekend. He was definitely the star of the show so he was passed around to a hundred different people I didn't know. Then he fell asleep so I don't have a good picture of him. I promise to post one as soon as I see him next. Until then, here's a picture of his mommy Chrissy and Olivia. Olivia looooves her "Issy."
It was also a pseudo family reunion and we were able to see the newly fianceed cousin GJ and Vicky who's wedding is next August. They live in La Jolla and GJ is a fireman so we definitely haven't seen him in a while with all the fire activity here in California. Don't they make cute wedding cake toppers?
There was a park right next to the reception hall so Olivia had fun there with her other cousin Annaliese. She calls her "Anny." She's turning 5 soon!

Corn On The Cob
Olivia doesn't eat much these days because she loves her milk so much. We need to cut back on the dairy. We've given her corn kernels before and that's been a hit, but like most food for a toddler, it got old fast. Here she is enjoying her first corn on the cob. She actually took more than a few bites of this :)

The Pumpkin Patch
We visited the Pumpkin Patch and Olivia had a great time. Here she is showing me that there are so many "puntins."
She was so excited that this shot actually took some time since it required her to sit still for 2 seconds!
Grandpa bought her a ticket for a pony ride which she seemed pretty excited about. She's patiently waiting her turn.
Getting on the pony...
As soon as she got on she proclaimed, "all done."
She preferred looking at the pony. Next year she'll be brave enough to ride it!
Olivia is this big ...
Daddy as a pumpkin farmer
Olivia thought this was pretty funny
Here she is with a pile of pumkins. Notice her Halloween shirt (it's actually a pajama top) - she loves it! "Spiyah" is her word for the spider on her shirt.
She's worn out and ready to go. Olivia had a great time but she was definitely more interested in watching the other kids on the rides than actually riding any of them this year.
A few days after the visit, Grandpa bought us a pumpkin to carve. Look at how excited she looks.

As soon as she pulled out the top she said, "UCK" and she refused to get the goop out. I thought she'd have fun with the mess, but she's very girly and didn't want any of it!
She's intently marking up the pumpkin so we know where to carve. Also notice all her scribbles on the sports section of the newspaper. She thought that all the baseball player pictures were of Uncle!
The finished product.
A big kiss for her punkin.
And here she is feeding her pumpkin a goldfish!

Da
She calls her grandpa "Da." I don't know why. She doesn't just say it, she yells it. Wherever he goes, she follows him like a tail. She lifts her shirt up exposing her belly for a rough tickle. She follows him to the freezer knowing that he'll share his popsicle with her. She just searches him out because she loves him, and she knows he loves her. She also knows she can get away with anything with him. Here they are probably watching Elmo for the hundreth time. Check out how she makes herself comfortable.
Here they are watering the lawn and splashing daddy who was passing by.

Bedrest
It's official - I'm on bedrest. Boring boring boring, but at least it gives me a chance to get on the computer and blog some old pictures. So, if anyone has any suggestions on good books or movies, please leave me a comment or give me a call.
Here's Olivia at her favorite place, the yogurt shop called Cherry on Top. Even from the parking lot she knows what's in store for her. Her favorite flavor is blueberry and banana strawberry. She's a big sticky mess by the time we leave!

The Next Day - Same Dress
Olivia looked so darn cute in the white dress that she wore it again the next day for church. Here she is at church daycare coloring.

Blurry, but I love her smile in this one.
My rear view.
Olivia telling me that she wants a BLUE skittle.
Lounging around with her baby
Making sure that her baby's milk is still good.

Practicing
Olivia is a nurturer. She loves all babies. At daycare I often find her in the infant room telling babies to shhhh. She likes to swaddle her dolls and pat their backs. Here she is rocking her baby doll to sleep. Check out the look she's giving me - she was upset that I wasn't using my library voice.

Here are some random pictures taken in her room. A pretty flower.
