Father's Day

We had a big breakfast and stopped over at a store where Grandma and Grandpa bought Olviia a Tinkerbell purse that she loved.
Photobucket

She just wanted to stay in the storefront and open and shut her new purse. When we pressured her to leave she dropped to the floor and threw her famous fit.

Here she is being very protective of her purse.

We went back to Downtown Disney to walk around some more. Olivia got to meet a Parrot. She was very curious although she wasn't too excited about posing next to it.

Olivia walked into the candy store and grabbed her treat of choice. Grandpa was nice enough to buy it for her, but I guess it was either that or see Olivia thrown in baby jail for theft :)

It's yummy too...

Father's Day EVE

We decided to make a weekend out of Father's Day, so the day before, we checked into our hotel and then drove over to the Garden's for some lunch at Bubba Gump. Here are the the two Dads goofing off after a huge lunch.

We defied all the rules and went swimming right after a big lunch. Olivia didn't sink, in fact, she was flying!

Photobucket

She could've done that all day!

After a short nap, we were off to Downtown Disney. Here she is with daddy and grandma at the House of Blues.

Enjoying chicken fingers...

Then she did a little dancing in the street with Grandpa. She loved the live band!

Photobucket

She's still in this picture, but she was clapping her hands to the music and stomping her feet, even twirling at times. She LOVES music.

Photobucket

Then we caught the Disney fireworks - it was a very long night for Olivia, but she could've partied all night.

Mason Park in Irvine with the Aarons

It's hard entertaining a 1.5 year old, especially this one! She needs constant entertainment and space to run. Jenn and I decided to let the girls run around the park in Irvine and feed the ducks. Olivia was pretty scared at first, but after a few minutes, she was throwing bread at these guys like nobody's business.

She would live in the park if she could.

The higher she goes, the louder she squeals.

Counting Teeth

Here she is showing me her beautiful teeth. She was about 5 months old when her first tooth came in and I remember thinking how BIG it looked in her tiny mouth. Now she has most of her teeth in and sometimes we count them. She says, "nigh, nigh, nigh.." like she's really counting "one, two, three." It might not be the right words, but her cadence is right on!

This next picture is kinda random, but I took the time to fix it, so I'm posting it!

Cooking

Olivia thinks she's a cook. I don't cook very often, so she's enthralled when I do. She loves to watch her grandma cook and grandma let's her help stir. Here she is practicing her mixing skills at home...
Photobucket

I liked the squinty eye picture but Vincent preferred this one, and since Father's day is right around the corner, I'm going to indulge him
Photobucket

Cooking and cooking...
Photobucket

I've been doing a little cooking myself -SURPRISE!!!
Photobucket

This one should come out of the oven on 12/20!

Evan Hearts Olivia

Last week I was surprised at the teacher's note of Olivia's day...

Evan and Olivia have been in the same room since they were 4 months old. They get so excited when they see each other in the morning, lots of squeals and happy dancing!

Half Birthday

On April 29, 2009, Miss Olivia celebrated her 1/2 birthday. We brought her a delicious looking cupcake to mark the occassion.
Photobucket

And she thoroughly enjoyed it!

Laguna Beach

Photobucket
We went to Laguna Beach for a little visit and at first Olivia was not quite sure what to think of all the hippie action.

Photobucket
But eventually she warmed up to the location and decided that it was a fun place to explore...

Photobucket
...and roll around and have a laugh.

Photobucket
This is a girl who needs constant entertainment. But it doesn't take much, just some space to run around and be silly.

The Big Mess

I KNOW it's been forever. But our computer crashed and Photoshop is gone. I'm trying to get it back. In the meantime, here's a picture of the hurricane we call Olivia and the disaster she leaves behind.
